After having blood tests at the vets, We were informed that Harpo was definitely male. 
January this year ‘He’ came into season for the first time,
On Tuesday 23rd April ‘He’ laid an egg
‘HE’ is obviously now a ‘SHE’ and has since laid a second egg.
Although she lives with other macaws and parrots around her she does not come into contact with them therefore the egg is not fertile
Harpo is now not so hormonal and is letting me stroke her as normal.
